Eliminating Racism: Hunter Cardinal

Eliminating racism is one of the game changers for tackling poverty, but talking about racism raises some of the same questions as talking about poverty itself. Where do you even start when you’re dealing with issues that big?Hunter Cardinal is in the business of helping people answer that question. Together with his sister Jacquelyn, he founded Naheyawin, a company that helps organizations use an Indigenous lens to look at their business in new ways. There’s a common thread in what brings clients to Naheyawin: they know diversity and inclusion are important, but they’re not sure where to start and they’re afraid of getting it wrong.

We sat down with Hunter this week to talk about his approach to building a better future for all of us. Watch the video to see the highlights of our conversation.
